yeah i know it's been forever...but i just had to share this with the general public *all 4 of you* :P so greg and i are in the computer room last night....he was character building for city of heroes and i was reading my new cosmo...and i come across an article about something like what a guy's style of PDA "actually" means.....and I started reading it to him and he interrupts me, totally naive, and he's like....what if he doesn't have a PDA? and i looked at him and tried really really hard to not bust up but i failed nonetheless and he's all like, what's funny? hehehe...and i'm like dear...PDA - not a palm pilot...and he just looks blankly at me, and finally i catch my breath and i tell him PDA stands for y'all know the right answer, public display of affection....i am seriously marrying the nerdiest man ever and i couldn't be more happy about it :D for those of you who haven't seen it, --> http://www.davidsbridal.com/bridal_gowns_detail.jsp?stid=2790&prodgroup=159 <-- my dress :) and i have the same veil and headpiece as well. just thought i'd share :) have a good night all!

1. Who was your first prom date?
Adam D. - I think he asked about a week and a half before junior prom....I had been hellbent on not going (I don't like to dance or really big social gatherings) but I felt bad saying no, so I went. Did I have a good time? eh...post prom was pretty sweet though.

2. Who was your first roommate?
first roommate would have been Liza at Cornell....six years ago already....Gosh time is flying.

3. What alcoholic beverage did you first drink?
hmmm....I was never really big on trying to get alcohol from my parents, I think my first alcohol might have actually been wine at my confirmation in 7th grade....that's prolly not really true, but i don't remember drinking anything before then...so yeah.

4. What was your first job?
very first job? prolly a tie between babysitting and my paper route that I got in junior high....but real high payers let me tell ya :P

5. What was your first car?
my first car was a silver '93 mercury sable named lucky and I loved that car. she had character (plus she didn't show any dirt or chips the way my car now does)

mmmm i believe that would have been my gramma's funeral in december of '88 when i was 5...that's definitely the first that i can remember.

mrs. breyne...and i got in trouble in her class for telling tj to quit kicking me while we were taking a spelling test!

first ride? that would have been to portland oregon to see my wonderful roommate's hometown (which is pretty awesome (for a city :P) and waaaay more liberal than i'll ever be)

i'm pretty sure that i never snuck out of my house ever....i was always way too afraid of getting caught and punished by my parents.....i was the epitome of goody tooshoes

very first sleepover? either at my cousin's house or amy peterson's house...i don't really remember which...that was a LONG time ago.

first *big* trip? the summer i turned 16 we were driving halfway across the country with my mom's college roommate....i guess that constitutes big :P

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?
I've only just had my first ever experiences with egg nog and milk nog this christmas, and i heartily dislike both of them...gimme a steaming mug of hot cocoa and marshmellows any day over that :P

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just sit them under the tree?
oh no....santa wrapped everything...and amazingly had the very same handwriting as my mother :)

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
colored lights have their place on certain trees, but i really prefer white lights on the tree and it totally depends on the house as far as color goes for lights on it

4. Do you hang mistletoe?
we never ever had mistletoe at home, but it might be kinda fun to keep in the apartment somewhere...

5. When do you put your decorations up?
in the past at mom and dad's we always went to get the tree on black friday and then we started getting decorations out saturday after that....however, we have a very young cat at home now, so i don't have a single christmas decoration out yet :( i've failed

6. What is your favorite holiday dish?
green bean casserole!

7. Favorite Holiday memory as a child?
probably all the years when my gramma still had Christmas at her house in the basement and us kids could play together, and all the aunts and uncles came all the time and everyone was happy

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
well i knew pretty young...i think i might have been about 6 cause i heard my dad eating the carrots and celery that i had left for rudolph....but i still believe in Santa Claus

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
everyonce in a while, my brother would talk my mom into letting us each open one on christmas eve after church, but we haven't done that for a while now

10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree?
my own tree right now only has lights on it, but there will be a collection of winnie the pooh and tigger ornaments on it when i get done with it

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it?
love it if i don't have to drive in it :) i *heart* playing in the snow!

12. Can you ice skate?
yup....not well or gracefully, but i can stay upright and glide about :P

i think one of my very favoritist christmas presents was the peach my little pony sweat pants and shirt my mom had made for me when i was like 4 or 5...it had my very favorite pony on it and i wore the hell out of it...i loved it like none of my other clothes...now i'm just thankful for the people i get to have in my life on a daily basis (whether that be in person or on the phone or whatnot)

sharing the love with my family and friends :) and i *love* christmas church cause the music is some of my favorite

when i was little i always used to spend the night at my gramma's the night before our big family christmas and it always made me feel special...now though, i'm kinda in the market for some new traditions, so we'll see what we can come up with

anyone who knows me at all (that still bothers to look at this) knows that I've been incredibly excited about the Eragon movie that opened today for a long time...basically ever since I saw the movie poster at the Wherenberg so many months ago...but it opened today, so I've been looking at Yahoo! reviews and I'm now scared to go see it....they make it sound that bad...I'm still going to, but really, these reviews are horrendous...but here's to hoping right:?
